How Autumn AlertTM Works

AUTUMN ALERTTM SUPPORTS three different user groups: 1) personal/business/government/school users; 2) caregivers/administrators; and 3) first responders. Users can access and manage their Autumn Alert account from any devices by using Autumn Alert’s VISability™ cloud portal, mobile devices, optional remote telemetry devices, or any combination. Autumn AlertTM connects to the Autumn AlertTM cloud service, which bypasses local telecom carriers who store information and messaging by voice, text, or email. The result is the ultimate privacy protection, since sender and receiver information, including all forms of communication, are never registered with your telecom carrier. You can even create address books which are not stored in your mobile device.

MOBILE DEVICE USERS have the option of allowing Autumn AlertTM to access device information such as GPS location, telephone number, battery level, IMEI, date, time, registered user and device name. This information is useful for identifying travel routes and privately communicating with friends and family. Device-specific information can be used by First Responders to track missing people and unauthorized phone use (stolen or improper use).None of this information is stored with or used by your telecom carrier.

IN ADDITION to secure text and email messaging, Autumn AlertTM offers voice messaging by forwarding recorded voice messages via telephone calls to mobile, land line, satellite, and VoIP telephones. Voice messages include Text-to-Voice (type it) or create a voice recording (say it). The “Type It, Say It” options are useful when a message needs to be voice communicated or for individuals who do not have internet-enabled devices.

RECIPIENTS OF AUTUMN ALERTTM MESSAGES ccan respond as they normally would to any text or email. These responses are also privately recorded in the Autumn AlertTM cloud, bypassing the respondent’s telecom service.

THE AUTUMN ALERTTM CLOUD is called VISability™ and allows caregivers, administrators and other users to configure individual mobile devices useful for managing the location, directions, and appointment schedules of health-challenged individuals, students, employees, family members, and others.
